L-tyrosine is a conditionally essential amino acid found naturally in food, primarily as a component of proteins. It is one of the 22 amino acids required by cells to produce proteins.

L-tyrosine is consumed through a mixed diet of protein from various sources or it can be consumed through supplements. It is popular among athletes to take pure L-tyrosine before training sessions, especially with caffeine.

Recommended intake
Take 1 serving daily 60 minutes before training.
